Chenille is a wonderful fabric to fold your baby up in, and I have made my Chenille baby blankets, soft, plush, and very durable. I patchwork squares of Chenille, then place a layer of cotton batting in between, and the bottom piece is a single layer of baby print flannel. I then sew all pieces together with a decorative pink, blue, and yellow design. They get softer, and more plush, with every washing. I use the very best quality materials, all 100% cotton, preshrunk, and machine washable. My Chenille blankets are large enough to lay on the floor to create a soft area for any baby, from newborn to toddler, and measures approximately 30" X 35".
